How Long Should Azithromycin And Cefixime Be Taken For Typhoid Treatment?
I had fever from 2nd feb,2014 then I examined with doctor and found typhoid.now I am fine and no fever came for 5 days still I am using azithromycin(500) daily anf cefixime(400) twice a day.
1)how long should I take this medicine.
2) can I take Ato Z tablet as nutrient tablet.
3)can I eat fish/chicken etc.

I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
1.Usually antibiotics is advised for a minimum of 7 days
2.You can take these Vitamin B complex, as it will replenish your nutrition
3.You need to avoid high protein diet, as the metabolism of the protein occurs in the liver. The liver should not be over burden for at least 20 days.
Even though fish has PUFA and MUFA, the fried items should be avoided.
