Is it true that you have maximum 10 years to live after open-heart surgery?
my mom was told she had 3 years to live by her doctor : (

...no, I know someone who lived well past that with pig valves in them........no one can predict that...everyone is different as are circumstances......

Thanks for query,
It is not like that I have seen so many my patients have long life of 20 years or more after open heart surgery.
So nothing to worry,longevity of life is not important but how you live is important.
