How Long Do Tonsillectomy Stitches Take To Get Dissolved?
I had a tonsillectomy 5 weeks ago, they used stitches to deal the wound near my uvula. Although they opened up and released in the first two weeks, on either side of my throat there is still a visible thread. My doctor tried to pull these hanging threads after two weeks but it hurt and he said they were clearly still attached. How long will it take for these last bits to fall out?

Normally in tissues vicyrl is used it will be absorbed in 2 to 4weeks .so be relaxed it will be dissolved .still if not dissolved can be removed
