Looking for a neurosurgeon that may do VATS (video assisted thoracic surgery) with high rate of success. Dr. Lee in Hattiesburg at neurospine clinic has tried several methods to relieve pain- steroids, nerve block (supposedly) have also seen chiropractor but says only sure method is surgery through chest for thoracic and cervical surgery which is a major surgery and involves lots of organs. Have been advised by family to check on laser surgery but have saw many negative reviews on this as a temporary fix. Came across VATS in some of my research would like to know more about this and procedures to repair or remove herniated disks. My father was messed up by a physician in Laurel and now has no bladder or bowel control since his surgery. I do not want to end up in this same condition. Thanks for any response.
