How Do You Lose Weight Safely?

I am 26 years old and I ve had four children. I am 164cm tall and approx. 160kg. I am tired of being this way, I want to be healthy and set. Good example for my children. I am not active at all, blood pressure and sugar are both normal and I don t have any special diet (vegetarian, diabetic, etc.) What would be the safest option for me with my weight loss? I don t know too much about healthy eating and exercise but I m a fast learner and desperate to change!

hello... its great that you are ready to change your lifestyle and so enthusiastic about it... first of all set a time in the morning for brisk walks/ jog for 1 hour daily.. eat small meals every 2-3 hours..have oats/ muesli with milk for breakfast, fruits and nuts for mid morning, salads + brown rice/ whole wheat roti+ veggies/ chicken / fish for lunch, sprouts/ egg whites for evening snacks, avoid carbs like rice/ breads for dinner.. have soups, salads, veggies/ grilled non veg for dinner..drink lot of water.. sleep well..avoid all sort of fried, sweets and junk foods..

Hi. Your body mass index is ~59. ...very high. you fall in the category of severe or morbid obesity.

Hello there,
Before saying about the weight loss,one must think why there is weight gain? In your case, I think this is due to the 4 pregnancies.May be you wasn't be able to take precautions after pregnancies.This is very important because after pregnancies the uterus should contract well.This helps the mother to live a healthy life in future.
See when the uterus doesn't contract well,the apana dushti takes place in the lower lumber region.This not only produce problems with the body but also with mind.
I must say that the ayurvedic treatment is the safest way to get rid out of this.

1)uttar basti( vaginal enema)is the best solution,under medical supervision.
2)prataplankeshwar rasa, nityanada rasa, chitrakadi vatti, bhalattak parpati, mahapanchagavya /kalyanaka / dadimadya / panchakol ghritam; dashamoolarishta/ punarnavasavam/ amrutadya arishtam/ saraswata-arishta/ pippalyasavam are some of the renowned medicines regarding this issue.The proper diagnosis according to nadi chkitsa is must.Better you should refer to an ayurvedic vaidya for this.
