How critical is recovery after cancer treatment ?

As seen in case of oncology surgery followed by plastic surgery to keep the removed area work smoothly, recovery is rather hard and painful for the patient specially in the old age group and sometime it requires a repeat treatment. Please share your views on this in this forum
