How Can Thyroid Problems Be Treated?
Hello Doctor,
I am Indian male staying in Oman. I have few querries as below;
1- can thyroid spread by smooching
2- how thyroid affects for conceiving baby
3- does thyroid lead to types of skin diseases e.g. vitilgo [white patches on body], psoriasis etc
4- what is the best tratment on thyroid for getting rid of it

Yes smoking may aggravate some thyroid pathologies. Graves' disease is very sensitive to smoking and the first line of treatment is to stop it.
Abnormal thyroid hormones is a well known cause of infertility and it should be corrected before planning a pregnancy because may be a cause of birth defects too.
Vitiligo and psoriasis are pathologies with autoimmune origin like most of the thyroid pathologies but they are not caused by thyroid.
To inform you about the treatment first i should now the proper diagnosis.
