Hi.. Thanks for the query.. As per your complain it seems that your son might have a viral infection leading to sore throat and sinus drainage along with pressure in ears.. It can also be due to Sinusitis.. As far as vibration is concerned it contains active ingredient Doxycycline that is an antibiotic and can be helpful if bacterial infection is the diagnosis.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture,PNS view x ray of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, antihistamine like Levocetrizine,do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
