How Can Pain In Chest And Heartburn Be Treated?

starting an eliptical excersise training session and now I have a sharp pain in the middle of my chest only when i move my arms....happen only 3 times the last 4 days...plus I have a lot of gas and mild mild heartburn....both go away with a glass of wine...thinking it could be stress plus injury from over doing the elipitical sessions...no other symptoms.

Hello

Empirically you can take proton pump inhibitors like tablet pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily half hour before food for one week then one tablet can be taken for one month.
You should avoid wine completely because it will aggravate your problem.
It is also important to exclude any cardiopulmonary problem.
You may need routine hemogram, random blood sugar, liver and renal function test, lipid profile,ECG,ECHO.
You may also need upper GI endoscopy after evaluation.

Get well soon.
Take Care
