General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The most likely issue of anal fissure.

Primary guidelines till you approach your consultant surgeon
- continue to drink more liquids and high fiber diet
- laxative as picosulfate tablet
- better analgesic coverage requires the prescription of diclofenac or tramadol hydrochloride from your GP
- local application of xylocaine jelly over the anus part
- sitz bath 3 times a day for 5 minutes each.

In refractory cases or where there is a severe anal spasm, one may require Lord's dilatation procedure under short anesthesia and the same should be discussed with your surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
