How Can Hard Stools With Pain And Burning Be Treated?
I go at least 8 times a day,I use a laxitive every day to soften my stool.I stoped taking the laxitive to see if my contstant going would stop but my stool got hard and it was like passing a foot ball so to speak.ive tryed all kinds of hemerriod creams and pills nothing seems to work.I also started eating more fiber, eating fruit, berry juices etc.theres no blood just internal sharp pain and burning.
Primary guidelines till you approach your consultant surgeon
- continue to drink more liquids and high fiber diet
- laxative as picosulfate tablet
- better analgesic coverage requires the prescription of diclofenac or tramadol hydrochloride from your GP
- local application of xylocaine jelly over the anus part
- sitz bath 3 times a day for 5 minutes each.
In refractory cases or where there is a severe anal spasm, one may require Lord's dilatation procedure under short anesthesia and the same should be discussed with your surgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
