I have a 5 ½ month old boy who just developed a rash under his chin last week. It has now spread to around his collar bone, back of his neck, all down his back (although very sparse down his back you can still feel bumps) and some down his stomach. It doesn t bother him, in fact he doesn t even notice. I have been keeping it clean and patting dry, tried vaseline, sudocreme (for nappy rash), and have now tried a cream a pharmacist recommended as he said he looked like a fungal rash due to him not being able to hold his head right up. The cream should make a difference after 1-2 days, however I don t think it s making any difference and has now spread. The spots are small and concentrated mainly under his neck. They look like they are little white spots, not like a zit or anything, but almost a light to white colour. Any idea what this is and how to treat it?
