OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Emergency pill should be taken within first 72 hrs of unprotected sex to get more protection against unwanted pregnancy.

If you did unprotected sex within last 72 hrs, she can take I-Pill or Unwanted 72 pill as ECP. Otherwise, she has to wait for next coming period and confirm pregnancy through home pregnancy test.

Kindly, consult with doctor if her period is delayed more than 1 week. Good luck.
