How Can I Quit Methadone Intake?

I want to know more about methadone, even more about ways of quitting taking it for chronic pain for 9 years. best places to get information I may not be doing this right, never done this before...I m going to add my email below and click on continue to consult. if this is all wrong, i m sorry. just tell me what to do. when I have money i ll be back maybe. wish I had known that this cost, I just used time up I didn t have. tell me the next time I find this and start a question

You can ask questions for free but if you want a more prolonged consult where you can ask follow up questions, then those consults require a fee. Methadone is a narcotic pain medication. Any taper off of it should be done in close connection with your doctor. Since you have been taking it so long the taper would need to be done very slowly over several months. The exact way to do this would depend upon your dose.
