How Can I Have Ear Infection With No Other Symptoms?

I have been having shooting pain that occurs randomly in my ears. Yesterday i noticed that my left ear was hurting to the point that i took a pain pill and motrin. When i woke up today i had an sharp headache behind my left eye and my ear was still hurting. Had my Chiropractor look in my ear and he says it looks like the ear is infected. How can I have and ear infection with no other symptoms but headache and ear pain?? Have not had any influenza or common colds.

Hello!
headache and ear pain are a sign of ear infection and the infection must be in its early stages , hence you are not having other complaints!
please meet your ent doctor soon! so that you dont develop the other symptoms and he can treat the infection in its early stage.
Thanks
