How I Should Wean Myself Off Cymbalta While Starting Viibryd To Avoid Depression ?
I just read the blogs from people with depression, which is what I have. they all reported that they have taken every anti-depression drug on the market, & so have I. I have taken Cymbalta for about 8 years but still feel depressed. I went to my dr. today & she gave me a sample pack of Viibryd, & explained how I should wean myself off the Cymbalta while starting the Viibryd. I checked the blog for information on Viibryd & people report a lot of side effects on this drug too. I am almost afraid to start taking it. One thing I read over & over is the drowsiness factor, that they take it in the evening with dinner. I have been taking the Cymbalta in the morning. My dr. didn't tell me what time of day to take the Viibryd & I didn't think to ask. Have you had experience with this drug?

Vilazodone, one of the new antidepressants, like most other antidepressants, can cause sleep disturbances and hence given during the day time. Few of the patients can experience drowsiness, in which case only the drug can be taken at night. It is advisable to start with day time dose.
