Hospitalized With Acute Andio Edem Affecting Eye, Face, Throat, Increased Level Of AST Enzyme.

Hi I was hospitalized with accurte andio edem affecteding my eyeyand and face and throaght yesterday. I am really health other than i talke 20mg lisinopril for mild HTN. I also have a marked inscrease in my AST enzyme. I am wondering if this is a one time occurande? I have also developed cold uticaria last year befor starting the lisinopril. Do you think it was the lisinopril and I am worried as it came on so duddently 7min and I was reall disdress. Any ideas. Im 52 no toher problems other than daily nausea and vomting from a rny 10yrs ago which they feel i have ruex statsis syndrome. I have also had a few episodes of eccurciation ULQ abd pain the resopleved spont after 10min and I had to go to the er for the epidodes as the pain was very localized and severe 10 out of 10 take yur breath away pain. it stats with a pain aroun my upper abd then localized to the ulq and is spontaniously resove in the er befor any test could be dont. no preciplitaing factors. V&V aftern occurs with this as well. Thanks

It is not unusual to experience acute reactions as such from drugs. I ma afraid it might be difficult to directly consecrate the symptoms to a particular drug,. This could be possible in case the Lisinopril was the only recently intriduced drug before the incident, and also if you had never experienced such symptoms before.
A case history and complete physical examination could be necessary. I suggest you book an appointment and get advice from an internist. Kind regards.
