History Of Polio. Difficulty Walking Due To Uneven Length Of Legs. How To Improve Situation?

hi i suufered from polio when i was 2. Now i am 35. As result of polio my right leg is 1.5 inches smaller than the left. As a result i have difficulty in walking an dhave to bend and place hand on my right leg to walk which results in a very awakward position while walking. I cannot walk more than 50 yards without talking rest..

Please advise how i can improve my situation

You can consult a Orthopaedic Surgeon who can examine you and suggest correction of the shortened leg by using specialised techniques involving corrective surgery.Physiotherapy will also help correct any muscular weakness, the two may complement each other.
