Hello, Although it is possible that any fever or infection can result in increase in blood sugar levels in a diabetic but such a high level of blood sugar levels in you indicate that your diabetes is running uncontrolled for past many weeks or months. There are plenty of very good oral antidiabetic drugs available now which can be used judiciously by your treating doctor to control your diabetes. Along with medications, you should observe strict dietary control and do regular aerobic exercises for 45 minutes a day, once your fever becomes all right. Consult a diabetologist or an internal medicine specialist for proper and detailed investigations and management. Thanks
