hi i have had high blood pressure for over 2 years now. I didnt go to see doctor until June this year when he started me on medications for it. I have bp of approx 237/135. I trdoesnt alter much. It was at this range before I saw doctor and the medication isnt helping. I have recently had mini strokes and have had a lot of angina attacks. I was sent to a chest pain clinic last week where they said i have a serious murmur. they did a scan on my heart and neck and said i dont have enough blood going to my brain. they could hear a noise in my neck. I have constant pounding in my left ear that stops me sleeping and i am exhausted . the doctor has told me to stay indoors and no walking...lots of rest. I am waiting to see a consultant at the hopsital and very worried. Is it likely i might need an operation?
