Heavy Periods Bleeding With Clots. Taken Norethisterone. Is It Normal, Effect Of Medicine?

Hi, i went on holiday and was due to be on my period so i started taking Norethisterone 3 times a day to postpone it. I started on the friday and continued until Wednesday night. After i stopped taking them, i came on 3 days after as i had been told was normal but i am very heavy and have clots in the blood . What is happening? Is this supposed to happen? Thanks.

So you nearly took Norehtisterone for around 6 days.
Yes heavy bleeding with clots may occur after sudden withdrawal of norethisterone. This is normal nothing to worry.
But dont use this method frequently. Your periods may become irregular and intermittent spotting may occur.
