Energy drinks are terrible for you. It's the next step up to disease from so called "soft" drinks. There's nothing soft about soft drinks. The amount of sugar in them should be enough for most people to file law suits against those companies making them. 1 teaspoon of sugar per ounce! That's 64 teaspoons of sugar in a Big Gulp and I've seen people get seconds. No wonder over 30% of all Americans are OBESE; not just fat, but obese. 80% of all Americans are over weight. 75% of all Americans die of heart disease. Does this sound like a healthy country? We rank 24th now in the world for longevity and going down. 23 countries have people that live longer than we do. The diet soft drinks are really bad. The artificial sugar substitutes they use turns to formaldehyde in your body when you drink them. It's no wonder the liver's of Americans are diseased and can't produce enzymes the way they should and to add the garbage drugs the doctors are prescribing to fix the problems is a complete joke. The energy drinks contain enough caffeine to stimulate your adrenals for a quick high and then they are exhausted and cannot produce adrenaline when the body needs it. These companies should be run out of the country. Unbelievable. If you want energy, the body does really wonderful on Whey protein, fruit juices from fresh organic fruit, and a good night's sleep to recharge your adrenal glands. Our bodies are designed to live between 120 and 140, but what we do to the body gives us about 1/2 of what it could. Don't buy or drink the so called "energy drinks." They should be called "fast high that stinks." good luck to you
