Headaches, Sharp Pain, Pink And Irritated Eye. Taken Tylenol. Is This Conjunctivitis?

Hello. Since last night I have had a headache on the left side of my head above my eye. It is a sharp pain. I woke up this morning with a pink, irritated eye. I have taken Tylenol throughout the day but it only helps slightly. Is this conjunctivitus? It is the headache that makes me think it could be a bit more complicated than that. I am a 38 yr old woman. Thank you for your advice!

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
It could be related to either eye infections or raised eye pressure. You need to be evaluated initially by an eye specialist followed by a neurologist to resolve this issue. Both these conditions may cause headache. Once the cause is identified, treatment becomes easy.

Best wishes
