Before you really panic, I suggest you go to a big store like Wal-Mart (sorry if you're not in the States) and get your blood pressure checked. Also, talk to your parents since high blood pressure is sometimes a genetic trait. The symptoms you describe sound more like you were dehydrated - which also affects your blood pressure but makes it lower, not higher. If you do have high blood pressure reduce the amount of red meat you eat, reduce your salt intake, and eat whole grain foods. Good luck!

Your symptoms may not be due to high BP. It can also due to unaccustomed sudden strain, like as u mentioned exercise. Get yourself checked by a physician

A friend of mine was suffering from kidney failure. She went on dialysis and improved so much that the doctor decided to remove her from it for a week as a trial run. She got sick with nausea, diarrhea, and dehydration and is now in the hospital. Can you tell me what is going on?

Hi, I've alway suffered from becoming nauseous after running or working out too hard. I used to think it was dehydration but now think it has something to do with my heart and sporadic arythmia.

Tonight, I became severely nauseous after a short, high-intensity workout at home. I didn't vomit but had to stay on the ground for about 25 minutes. I saw flickering white and colored static, had ringing in my ears, sweating, dizziness. I couldn't move and had to lie on the floor half-conscious till the feeling subsided.

Do I have a weak heart? Am I just prone to over-exerting myself?

I am a 43 year old male. My entire life I have felt hot and I have always sweated profusely. The least little amount of activity can trigger sweating. Even when I go skiing and it's 20-degrees, I can only wear a single layer of clothing (short sleeve shirt). I tend to get dehydrated very quickly, so I have to drink water also continuously. In social settings, I tend to avoid activity in an effort to avoid getting hot and sweaty. Do I have Hyperthyroidism or some other condition? This constant condition can't be normal and it certainly prohibits me from living life to the fullest.
