Headache, Pressure, Echo In Ear, High BP. On Ciprofloxacin For Ear Infection, Atenolol For BP. Prescribed Captopril For Raised BP. Reason?

I have ear infection and have been taking ciprofloxacin for 4 weeks and still on it for 7 more days, but still have lots of headaches pressure and eco ringing in the ear, plus I wake up around 2-3am my blood pressure jumps over 210/110 in spite that I’m taking Atenolol 100mg 2x daily . Now doctor gave me Captopril 25mg ½ to take when BP is over 170 as need it.
Would any doctors know why. ?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
210/110 mm of Hg. If I would your treating physician for this case of very high B P ,I would come up with these possibilities and measures for you , these includes.
1 So high blood pressure and echo in ears is concerning. You need to investigated with E K G & ECHOCARDIOGRAM to isolate the case . I would recommend you visit a cardiologist at the earliest & sort this problem.
2 A 40 minute physical activities everyday like morning walk , evening walkor a visit to gym or swimming pool will help you.
3 Tension is the most important cause of hyper tension , if you think you have tension , consult a psychiatrist .
In my opinion consult a cardiologist and get his opinion at once.
