Having Sore Throat, Difficult To Swallow, White Spots On Tonsils, Headache. What Can Be Cause?

I have been having a sore throat the last 3 days; it s really difficult to swallow. Inside of mouth looks red and I have a white spots on my tonsils. No cold or anything else, just sore throat and white spots on bad of throat. Have had bad headaches the last 3 days. No other symptoms.

Hello,

From the symptoms mentioned,i suspect the white spots on tonsils and reddish mucosa within mouth may be due to-herpetic infection.

Antiviral antibiotics has to be administered.

Avoid spicy foods.

Tobacco or pan chewing has to be avoided.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Vitamin b complex along with folic acid and iron supplements has to be administered.
