Having Itching, Burning And Stinging Urethra. Using Clotrimazole. What Could This Be?

Urethra itching, burns and stings when I pee. Went to dr and he found no white blood cells in urine, ruling out a uti, sent urine off to lab for further testing, results were negative for stds. He said If I continued feeling this way to we a urologist on Monday, tomorrow. He said it could be fungal. He didn't even examine me.

I have been applying clotrimazole 2% every couple of hours to the tip of my penis.

What else could this be?

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
acquired Mucocutaneous Candidiasis of your genitals mostly due to unprotected sex.

Please check your blood sugar levels torule out diabetes as this is very common in diabetic individuals.

Please take anti fungal medications along with topical anti fungal Gel for local application for a week. Get the prescription from your family Physician.

It should get cured in a week.Avoid sexual activities till it heals up completely.
