Having Inability To Flex My Thumb--last Joint & Back Pain. Diagnosed With Spinal Stenosis. Is It Serious? What Should I Do?

I am male, 69 years old. I have developed the inability to flex my thumb--last joint. I have no pain in the joint, just immobility. This is present on both thumbs. I have had some back problems. Diagnosed with spinal stenosis, but not really symptomatic yet. One doctor said I was just getting old and it was osteoarthritis. BUt, I have no pain!!

Hi,
It seems that due to osteoartheritis changes in bones, your thumb became stiff.
Pain may or may not be the symptom.
Go for Physiotherapy of thumb regularly.
Take branded calcium, vitamin A, D.
Ok and take care.
