I am caring for a 90yr old man. He appears to have flu-like symptoms. His voice is rough, deep cough, flem, etc.. However what concerns me is that he woke up and ate two bites of breakfast and said he wanted to go back to bed. Its now 3:15 and hes still sleeping. hes currently taking 11mg of Coumadin, 28mg of Namenda, Excelon patch and a blood pressure medication. im wondering if I should wake him and take him to the E.R.? I asked him earlier and he said to let him rest and we`ll see how it goes..
