Having Bilateral White Patches In Tongue

dear doctor, its been more than 6 months i m having bilateral white patches in my tongue.. i looks like leukoplakia..it does not goes off while brushing.. it is like fissures ..i am so worried weather it may be premalignant or OLH.. about OLH i used to have unprotected sexual intercourse with my girlfriend 10 months ago .. since we broke up i tested negative for HIV 3 times by TRIDOT method of testing..(2 weeks,4 months and 7 months)... what should i do please give me some advice..

hello,

since you have tested negative for HIV so its almost ruled out.. get examined yourself by your doctor... it can be due to some vitamin deficiency or fungal infection or improper oral hygiene...

as u told its look like leukoplakia ..ya may be pre malignant lesion

so its better if u could contact me for proper check up that wil be better

and your proper treatment is to be done with some investigations ..

Hi,smith thanks for query.It could be some fungal infection also.Please get in touch with your doctor who will after examination will give proper treatment.It could also be due to some vitamin deficiency.As you have tested HIV negative even after 7 months ,HIV is mostly ruled out.Bye.
