hi thanks for ur query on HCM b/l pedal edema to start with is more indicative of cardiac disease though u have less serum albumin u didnt mention A:G ratio urinary albumin trace so u have to exclude kidney diseases as well recently u developped sore throat also u ve to exclude streptococcal infection and its sequel u need to have following......... 1. serum ASO titre 2. throat swab staining and culture 3. echocardiography 4. ECG u need to have high protein diet look for regular follow up with urea, creatinine, urine r/e kidney biopsy can be performed if diagnosis is not made from above thank u take care
