Having TSH Level 5.45, Do I Need Medicines?

my TSH level is 5.45 but I have no symptoms at all. no constipation, hair loss, dry skin, exhaustion etc I get up at 5 am walk my dog for an hour garden, cook, watch tv. walk again then read until 10 pm. I am 66 years old... way through menopause and never took hormones . Do I really need medication

A very good question.
I would like to know the levels of T3 and T4.
If you do not have any symptoms , no need to take any medicines for this TSH levels.
Repeat the tests of Free-T3 , Free-T4 ans TSH on an empty stomach after one month to see that you are not suffering from Hypothyroidism.
Till them relax and enjoy gracefully.
