Have thyroid lobe measurement. Can any online doctor help me to read it?
THE RIGHT THYROID LOBE MEASURES 3.5 cm L X 1.1 cm AP X 1.3 cm T.
THE LEFT THYROID LOBE MEASURES 3.7 cm L X 1.0 cm AP X 1.1 cm T.
THE THYROID ISTHMUS IS NORMAL AND MEASURES .3 cm ap.
THE THYROID GLAND SHOWS MODERATE INHOMOGENEOS ECHOTEXTURE. THE RIGHT THYROID LOBE SHOWS HYPOECHOIC SOLID NODULES MEASURING 7 x 5 x 6mm, 8 x 4 x 5 mm, 7 x 3 x 6 mm. LEFT THYROID HYPOECHOIC NODULE SEEN MEASURING 7 x 5mm AND 5x 4 x 6 mm.

Hello user,
Your report says that there are small nodules inside your thyroid glands on both sides of lobe. You are hereby advised to meet nearby General Surgeon to get your thyroid gland properly examined and palpated, to see the consistency and type of nodules.
You also need a visit to a Endocrinologist to search for reasons for nodules and to take care of your thyroid hormones imbalance which might be the reason for these nodules.

Your ultrasound of thyroid report shows that there are 3 nodules in the right and 2 nodules in the left lobe.
You have to take another test that is thyroid profile test,,it contains TSH, T3 and T4...
depending upon the values of thyroid hormones the nodules can be determined as hot or cold..
If you have the symptoms like difficulty swallowing,hoarseness of voice,drooping upon the eyelid,then it is malignant and need to be surgically exiced.
Consult general surgeon for more suggestions.
