Have Spinal Stenosis. History Of Back Surgeries Including A Lumbar Fusion. Now Have Nerve Root Compression, No Feeling In Perineum. Treatment?

I have severe spinal stenosis with a history of 3 back surgeries including a lumbar fusion for centreal herniation at l4-5 and l5-s1 with a central herniation in the thoracic region with milld spinal compression. This is a condition that has been going on since an accident in 2006. I now have nerve root compression with an incident on cauda eqina syndrome last month which was treated with IV and a Medrol dose pack. I take gabapentin 3600mg dly, Fentanyl 50mcg patches every 72hr and Flexeril 10 tid prn. With the incident last month and again this week I have had to be catherized. The first time I had a foley doe 3 days with an initial output of over 3000cc. This week I had 1000cc My entire perineum has no feeling or is extremely painful with pins and needles. Are there any suggestions you may have to offer to help?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM , I can understand your problem but you have gone through the most delicate and crucial surgical procedure and now facing the post surgical events, it is very difficult at this stage to advise anything out of your reach or inauthentic, you better discus it with your surgeon he would be a person can find out some way, take care,, have good day.
