General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello shamsudeen,
Thank you for consulting HCM.Atopic eczema may be the most likely cause int he child. You may have used so many drugs i think as it is bothering him since birth.I can advice you first you need to avoid the triggering factors for itching like
-moisturizing
-wearing soft cloths
-if itching is due to sweat taking a cool bath or tub bath
-avoiding the foods allergic to them as most likely offenders are soy, peanut, eggs, milk and sea food.
-if there are signs of infection you need to treat them early
-avoid contact with furry animals.
These are some of the measures you can do.But medical treatment include corticosteroids, antibiotics if there is infection and anti histaminics.
This is the usual treatment given by any doctor you visit anywhere in the world.
So the best part of treatment lies in you as you need to follow the preventive measures to stop itching as if you control itching then you will treat the rash soon with the drugs prescribed.Thank you.

Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Nasir's  Response
Thanks for your query. Confirmed diagnosis cannot be given without the examination of skin. I would request you to send me photos of affected parts to reach me on some conclusion.
Better to see some local Dermatologist for diagnosis of disease, because most of the skin allergies are diagnosed just by physical examination.
You are advised to go through the following tests
•     Blood complete examination
•     Blood cytology
•     Renal profile
•     Lipid profile
•     LFTs
These all tests are to rule out any systemic disease.
Meanwhile you can take
•     Antihistamines like Cetirizine
•     Antioxidants like Vitamin C
•     If it is itching you can apply cream containing a combination of betamethasone and Gentamicin.
I am sure the symptoms will improve if you don’t get relief, plz let me know on pakheim@gmail.com pakheim@yahoo.com
Hoping that you will get benefit from my advice.
My prayers are with you.
Thanks and best regards.
