Have Sarcoidosis. Have Lumps In The Breast. Blood Pressure Is Up. On Prednisone. Have Headaches. Treatment?

I have sarcoidosis and it had been dormant for 9 years and then just this year after having a superficial blood clot in my leg in july ( I do have factor v leiden) I started having problems and found out that it had spread into my lungs and other places not for sure where but I have lumps in my breast and under my skin ! My blood pressure has at times gone up when I don't feel good one time it was 170/95 and then 161/105 then it will get normal and then the numbers will be close together like today I haven't felt good and it was 110/90 ! I get headaches and if I get up to fast it goes black and I'm tired all the time and I don't sleep very good my lungs still feels full like there inflamed and they hurt ever once in awhile but at one time they put me on a 5 day supply of prednisone and as soon as it was out of my system it seemed like every thing is coming back what is your suggestion ? I am seening my hematologist tues and then a pulmonary dr on the 11th

Hi. Sarcoidosis if it is dormant for 9 years is unlikely to be the cause of your symptoms, though neurologic involvement needs to be ruled out as you have headache and a labile blood pressure. An MRI would be helpful to look for the same. I guess you have become dependent on prednisone as you seem to have these odd symptoms whenever your steroids are withdrawn. You need to check your BP frequently, restrict your salt intake and take some anti-hypertensives preferably hydrochlorthiazide derivatives. And the lumps under your skin are likely to be lipomas most likely. Guess I have answered your query. Thank you.
