Have Pain In Pelvic Area During And After Intercourse. Have Breast Tenderness, Dizziness And Back Pain. On Beyaz. Ovulating?

Hi I have been having some pain on right lower pelvic area particularly during and after intercourse sometimes followed by light red bleeding when wipe. I had breast tenderness last week which has subsided. I am due for my period in 6 days. I have had some dizzy spells/vertigo when laying down and upon waking up. I have also had lower back pain on right side which is going down my leg. Ive had some nausea here and there. What could this be? I took a first response test today which came out negative. I am on beyaz. I had an ultrasound last Thursday which showed right ovarian follicle. Does this mean I am ovulating?

Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

Your symptoms do match that of either pregnancy, a hormonal imbalance or even an expecting period.

Keeping in mind the fact that you are on beyaz, these could all be symptoms you are experiencing due to the medication.

But the first and foremost priority should be given to rule out pregnancy. I would recommend a home pregnancy test to be conducted, 2 weeks from your last sexual contact or on or after the first day of a missed period. Use an early morning urine sample for the test, as it would yield the most accurate result. Please repeat this 2-3 times to confirm a result.

Next, you will have to report to a doctor to get physically examined to check for any signs of an infection (although unlikely, I have requested for this due to the presence of pain during or immediately after intercourse which is called dyspareunia) and also to get your hormonal levels checked.

In the meantime, please abstain from sexual intercourse till your doctor deems it safe to be practiced. Wishing you the best.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.

Hi, the pain and occassional bleeding after sex is due to infection, may be candidiasis, or trichomoniasis.
I usually prescribe to my patients with such symptoms fluconazole, cifixime200mg, B.D.Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts and proteine rich foods.
Thank you.
