Have Pain In Legs, Feet, Night Sweats, Dark Urine. Could This Be High Uric Acid Or Peripheral Neuropathy?

I have pain in my legs and feet. My feet are cold at night and I have night sweats every night. The pain is from my thighs all the way to my feet. The pain is 24/7 and sometimes itches, burns and some aches. Could this be High Uric Acid because my urine is dark yellow almost orange or could I have Peripheral Neuropathy? This has been going on for quite a while. Thank you for your help

Hello dear,

Increased uric acid in urine can be detected by Renal function tests.
In absence of an injury or trauma, the of symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to:
1. Peripheral neuropathy
2. Thyroid dysfunction
3. Anemia (either Iron deficiency or Vit B12 deficiency anemia)
4. Any abnormality in blood pressure & blood sugar levels
5. Deficiency of certain nutrients like Iron, Vitamin B 12, Calcium, etc. which also interferes with blood formation & nerve conduction

Investigations like complete blood count, estimation of blood pressure and blood sugar levels & Renal function tests will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with intake of nervigenic agents like Vit B12, Vit B6 & Folic acid.

Take care.
