Have Lump During The Menstrual Cycle. No Medication Till Now. What Is The Remedy For This?
This is the start of my second menstrual cycle where I have had three lumps on my mons. The first time they popped eventually like a pimple and went away. This time two of them are acting like a pimple and the third one is not developing a head of any sort and just getting bigger. Never had anything like this happen before.
Hi, Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM. It appears from your problem that you are probably suffering from the problem of "folliculitis" of the mons pubis area. These appears due to blockage and inflammation of hair gland of the region leading to reddish bumps. If these get enlarged then it becomes itchy and painful. This is due to heat, humidity or certain factors related to hygiene. Kindly do not scratch or pop up any these as can lead to further infection. Maintain hygiene properly, wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments, changed two times daily. Trim your hair regularly. this is common problem during change of the hormones also, so need not be worried about the same and can be managed by simple methods mentioned above. If any of these is becoming larger or painful then should take antibiotics and painkillers under medical advice.Hope this information will help you. Wish you good health.
