Consulted a gynaenocologists who prescribed trapic 500 mg thrice a day .Its been 4 days since I am having Trapic but still bleeding profusely.Spoke to Dr. and she again wants me to start Modus 10 mg. How Can I stop bleeding asap?
To begin, you have to be sure you are not pregnant because if you are, all the medications will not be helpful. If you have had unprotected intercourse within the last two months or so, it will be necessary to take a pregnancy test. If the pregnancy test is negative, then its likely that you are suffering from an anovulatory cycle which is common in young girls and premenopausal women.
Hormonal contraceptives are the better option and modus is one. However, some gynecologists would rather prefer oestrogen in acute and severe bleedings.
