Have hypoechoic lesions in myometrium. Enlarged ovaries. Should I be concerned?

I have 2 hypoechoic lesions found in my myometrium . My uterus was found to be inhomogeneous in echotexture but normal in shape on ultrasound . My uterus and both ovaries appeared slightly enlarged and my endometrial lining measured 11.88mm. My gyn has recommended an endometrial biopsy . Should I be concerned at this point or is this just routine?
