Have Hair On Upper Lip. Dark Patch After Applying Lemon, Honey And Oatmeal. Help

hello doctor,i am a 28 year old female... i have little bit hairs on my upper lips. i got to know that rubbing oatmeal mixed with lemon and honey decreases the hair growth.. so i applied this mixture on my upper lips... but when i rubbed it once it dried it left a dark patch on the left side of my upper lip.. i could feel some water kind of thing around it.. i have applied coconut oil on it...its been 12 hrs now but it did not fade...pls help me what to do now...

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You have developed an allergic reaction to the mixture.

The darkening is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Apply a mild steroid lotion like fluticasone.

Also take an antihistamine tablet.

This will give you some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
