Brief Answer:
Use a hydrocortisone cream

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Thank you.

I have viewed the images.
Perhaps this is due to a minor irritation from cosmetics or toothpaste.
Doesn't seem to be too concerning as the redness is not very noticeable in the images.
I suggest you to use hydrocortisone cream, twice daily. This should be fine

Brief Answer:
Fordyce spots on upper lip

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

The little bumps on the upper lip are Fordyce spots which are nothing by ectopic sebaceous glands without an opening to the surface so they appear as yellow bumps. They are harmless. You have these since last many weeks since i am answering your earlier queries. Its not herpes labialis/ cold sores.
You may continue with hydrocortisone cream and moisturizing lip balm on lower lips. The tightness that you feel is because of dryness of lower lip vermilion.

Brief Answer:
Not herpes

Detailed Answer:
Thank you. I have viewed the images.

Cheilitis looks flared up in some of the images. I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream (flutivate cream). It is a predisposition medicine. Cortisone cream doesn't seem to be doing much good. As far as the gum are concerned I have viewed the images and it doesn't look like herpes. Gums when involved in herpes (herpetic gingivostomatitis) are swollen, red and would have ulcers/ sores. I can see anything like that in here. So its not related to herpes. Kindly contact your dentist.

Brief Answer:
Stomatitis

Detailed Answer:
thank you. I have viewed the images.

I would keep a diagnosis of stomatitis - inflammation of oral mucous membrane - but it doesn't look herpetic gingivostomatitis. I would suggest an antiseptic mouth wash, twice or thrice daily and a B Complex multivitamin e g Cap Becosule once daily. Kindly contact your dentist for any modification to the above.

My grandson is 7 and has had a temp for 6 days. His throat is red & has sores. It is not strep or mono by tests performed. The fifth day his gums are fire red & really sore. The doctor said it is viral gingivitis and said to stop taking antibiotic since it is viral. They got an ointment prescription to rub on his gums. Is this accurate (viral gingivitis)? I looked online & am only finding poor dental health gingivitis.

Yes, I believe my daughter is in the beginning stages of hand foot and mouth virus. She's 4 and a half years old and about 45 pounds. I was instructed to give her 2 pellets of belladonna 30c. About 20 minutes later she had a bad headache-like shooting pains, and on the right side of her abdomen also pain. She seemed a little disoriented as well. She is now sleeping and has been for about an hour. Her fefer has dropped a bit, but I have never used this before and I am feeling a little worried based on her immedicate side effects. Your thoughts and experience would be very comforting right now.

hi my 19 month old boy started with a fever a week ago which subsided after 2 days then i noticed a foul smell coming from his mouth and i thought he may be teething ,i looked into his mouth and his gums all appeared swollen there were no signs of thrush , i started to brush his teeth and he started to bleed on contact with the brush, this has been going on for three days . i started antibiotics today thinking this may be gingivitis bc of the foul smell swollen gums and bleeding with brushing , on two occasions he has cried and his gums started to bleed during the crying episode .. is this gingivitis ? i have been using chlorhexidine spray and the swelling has settled a little along with the antibiotics, but because of the bleeding i just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything
