Have Extra Cartilage On Lower Ribs And Hurts. Rest All Tests Normal. What Does It Mean?
I have extra cartilage on my lower left ribs. What is this called and why does it hurt? Sometimes I feel as though I may have something wrong with my stomach. CT scans, Xrays and blood work show nothing but the extra cartilage. My doctor tells me not to worry that it's just the cartilage making me hurt there. Do you think I should get another opinion?

if its not causing any problem,then leave as it is.
if pain, take anagesic antiinflammatory for 2-3 days.
