Hi--the more important number is you hemoglobin A1C level which should be checked every three months. It shows you average blood glucose over that period and ideally it should be 6 or less to indicate tight control of your diabetes. 150 fasting is still high but not alarmingly so.

General & Family Physician Dr. Lohit K's  Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Since you are 62 and your all blood sugar normal but FBS is around 150 continuously for last 3 years, this is not alarming. Strict blood sugar monitoring is not recommended in elderly. Let me know all drugs you are taking.
High fasting sugar suggests overnight sugar level. This can be optimized by using right drug, right dose, right time and right food and exercise. Keep looking for your HbA1c, Lipid profile, renal and liver function test, retinoscopy, foot care and peripheral nerve problem.
Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question.

Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit
