Have Brown Discharge. Took Primolut N. Reduced Bleeding. Will It Affect My Next Period?

hello....i took primolut N on the 5th day of my period. On 5th day, the bleeding was reduced considerably but the problem is that the brownish colored continue for more than 10 days sometimes. For religious reason, i'm taking Primolut N twice daily for 21 days to stop the bleeding completely. Will it have any effect on my next period and also, if i stop taking Primolut N after a few days, will my period starts again. Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Yes, your periods will start again.
Once you stop primolut N , you will have periods with a week.
Your next periods will be as usual.
In some women primolut N causes continuous spotting. But it will normalize in couple of months.
So you need not worry.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
