Have Breathlessness And Chest Pain. Diagnosed As Mild Pneumonia. Took Z Pack. ER Done. What To Do?

Hello, Went to er with shortness of breath and chest pain. After an xray diagnosed with mild pneumonia. Doctor said "little pneumonia in there" and did not seem concerned. Prescribe Z pack and sent on my way. Told I could go back to work tomorrow. Went home feeling ok absent shortness of breath. Rested all day, took first dose of z pack this evening and am now feeling worse. Severe chills and nausea, feet feel like ice cubes. Heart rate feels normal, feeling weak when I stand up. Still no fever or cough. At what point should I become concerned and go back to er?

Hello,

Your history suggests that is pneumonia.
The symptoms are not improving, as day passes it is getting worse.
Clinical you're not improving so is the pneumonia.
Classical example is development of chills.
You need to revisit the doctor.
Reevaluate yourself and if need hospitalize.
For the time been fever is not present.
If the symptoms worsens fever may follow.
