Have Blood Vomiting And Fever. ALL The Test Done. Taking Cipro. What To Do For This?

My daughter presented to the ER with vomiting blood 2xs, & low grade fever. UA & CBC revealed normal levels. Three days later, her UCx came back with large amounts of klebsiella. She began a course of Cipro, 500mg 1pd, on Saturday. Her symptoms have not improved, she has even worse stomach pain, and cannot tolerate food.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns for your daughter. Vomiting blood and having a low grade fever are signs of a chronic lung infection or another malignant condition. I also feel like you should have the sample cultures and have the sensitivity testing done. I believe that this is an infection that can be cured. I hope you find your pediatrician to believe what you are saying from this forum. Take care and have a lovely day!
