Have Baldness In Temple Areas. Using Minioxidil And Finax Tablet. Will Daily Dose Of Finax Cause Cancer?

Hello im a 20 yrs old male experiencing male pattern baldness at my temple areas...im currently using minoxidil solution and finax tablet 1mg ......I have read a lot about the side effects of finesteride tablets and dat it can contribute towards having a prostate cancer and male breast cancer as well..........I wanted to ask can daily dosage of 1mg finax cause such serious cancers really????? Pls help. Thanks

Thanks for your query. I appreciate your concerns.

* Finasteride is NOT known to cause either Prostatic or male breast Cancer!

* It is used carefully, in case of existing but UNDIAGNOSED Prostate cancer. That does not mean that it aggravates Prostatic cancer.

* Long-term use of Finasteride can lead to simple mild enlargement (reversible) of male breasts and NOT cancer.
