Have Asymptomatic Lung Cancer. Done Radiotherapy. Chances Of Survival?

my brother is diagnosed having asymptomatic lung cancer which has also effected his liver and traveled to brain. For brain part radio therapy is in progress and chemo will be started few days after radio one is over. He has apparently no symptoms and tests normal for all functions of liver and blood.
What will be chances of his survival and complete remedy.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
it depends on type, size on localization of tumor and it is always hardly predictable. But considering that he has metastases, honestly the possiblity of survival and cure is negligible. These effected organs are sign of terminal malignant disease and therapy can be only pallative and you should focus on how to prolon his life for several months more.
Hope I have answered your query. Wish you good health. regards

Oncologist Dr. Monish De's  Response
Your brother is suffering from stage IV B lung cancer since the tumour has already spread to liver and brain.
Chances of his survival is nil as it has already affected his liver and brain.
The only intent of treatment now is palliation and not cure.
U can now only prolong his life for few months with chemotherapy.
Chemotherapy can also cause temporary relief in his symptoms.
