Have Copd, Coughing. Is It True That Promethazine With Cod Has Been Banned By The Government?
i have pulmanary problems , i cant breath well, the govt. seems to take every combination drug off the market like the copd medicine that did so well on me or dyphillin. i also take a cough medicine at night promethzine/cod 6.25 at night because as soon as i lay down i start coughing and cant stop. the dr says i have copd , today my dr tells me that promethazine with cod. has been banned by the govt is this true

Yes,in some part of world it is banned but there are so many other good drugs for copd.
It is better to go for inhalation therapy.Rota caps of bronchodilator with mild steroid in rota haler is definitely helpful.
Levocertizine/montelukast and bronchodilator/ambroxol is advisable.
Antibiotic is required during phase of productive,yellow expectoration.
So you are requested to switch over other medicines under guidance of your treating doctor.
